चीनले भन्यो- कालापानी सीमा विवाद संवादबाट टुंग्याउ

काठमाडौं । चीनले नेपाल र भारतबीचको जारी सीमा विवादका विषयमा पहिलोपटक औपचारिक प्रतिक्रिया जनाएको छ । भारतले हालै जारी गरेको नयाँ नक्सामा नेपाली भूमि कालापानी क्षेत्र आफ्नोतिर पारेको छ । नेपालमा त्यसको चर्को विरोध भइरहेको छ ।

चीनले कालापानी क्षेत्रको सीमा विवाद नेपाल र भारतबीचको मैत्रीपूर्ण परामर्श र वार्ताका माध्यमबाट सुल्झाउनुपर्ने जनाएको छ । ‘चिनियाँ पक्ष कालापानी क्षेत्र विवाद नेपाल र भारतबीचको मैत्रीपूर्ण परामर्श र वार्ताका माध्यमबाट टुंग्याउन भन्ने चाहन्छ’– काठमाडौंस्थित चिनियाँ दूतावासले बिहीबार साँझ जारी गरेको विज्ञप्तिमा भनिएको छ ।

नेपालको सार्वभौमिकता र भौगोलिक अखन्डताको चीनले सदैव सम्मान गर्ने विज्ञप्तिमा जनाइएको छ । चीनले पनि नेपाली भू–भाग अतिक्रमण गरेको भन्दै गरिएको दाबी आधारहीन भएको उसको भनाइ छ । ‘यी आरोपहरू आधारहीन हुन् र सही र गलतबीच पूर्णत भ्रम सिर्जना गरी मानिसको ध्यान अन्यत्रै मोड्ने उद्देश्य देखिन्छ’–दूतावासका प्रवक्ताद्वारा जारी विज्ञप्तिमा उल्लेख छ ।

भारतले जारी गरेको नयाँ नक्सामा नेपालको कालापानी, लिपुलेक र लिम्पियाधुरासहितको भू–भागलाई भारततर्फ समावेश गरिएको छ ।यसअघि नै परराष्ट्र मन्त्रालयले एक विज्ञप्ति जारी गरी ती भू–भाग नेपालको भएको जनाइसकेको छ । भारतको त्यस कदमविरुद्ध कूटनीतिक पहल गर्ने विषयमा नेपालका दलहरुबीचमा ‘राष्ट्रिय सहमति’समेत बनिसकेको छ ।

यस्तो छ विज्ञप्ति 

Spokesperson: The Chinese side wishes Nepal and India could solve their territory disputes on Kalapani through friendly consultations and negotiations. The Chinese side has always respected for sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Nepali side. We have also noticed some irresponsible media and individual groups claiming China also encroached Nepali land. These accuses are baseless and totally aims to confuse right and wrong and divert public attentions.  China and Nepal signed the Boundary Treaty in 1961 and the boundary has been delimited and demarcated. Over the years, the two sides have a good cooperation in matters such as the boundary and dry ports affairs. In October this year, President Xi Jinping paid a successful state visit to Nepal. During the visit, the two sides signed the Agreement on the Boundary Management System. China is willing to further strengthen cooperation with the Nepali side on boundary affairs to avoid interference from the outside and promote common development. Any attempt to undermine China-Nepal relations won’t be achievable.
